Product Description

Cold Infuse by Rotass is a 640g food-grade N2O cylinder designed for quick infusion of beverages and ingredients. Beyond its traditional use for whipping cream, N2O can be used to speed up the infusion of flavors into liquids when used with compatible equipment.

It can be used for combinations such as fruit and wine, herbs and spirits, or tea and cold water. Ingredients such as rosemary, mint, vanilla, and spices can be infused without the long steeping time normally required by traditional methods.

For cold-brew tea, Cold Infuse helps extract tea flavors into cold water more quickly, making it a practical option for cafés, bars, and beverage professionals who need a faster preparation process. The 640g cylinder contains 99.95% food-grade nitrous oxide and can be connected to compatible equipment through a pressure regulator or used with an Infuso beverage machine for infusion applications.

How Does Cold Infusion Work

Cold infusion uses food-grade N2O and pressure to speed up the transfer of flavor from ingredients into a liquid. Compared with traditional cold steeping, which may require hours of contact time, N2O-assisted infusion can shorten the preparation process when used with suitable equipment.

Step 1

Add the Ingredients

Place the selected ingredients, such as tea, fruit, herbs, or spices, into a compatible infusion container. Add the liquid to be infused, such as cold water, wine, or another suitable beverage.

Step 2

Introduce Food-Grade N2O

Connect the Cold Infuse N2O cylinder to the compatible infusion equipment and introduce the gas under con

Step 3

Infuse Under Pressure

As the liquid remains in contact with the ingredients, their flavors and aromas are transferred into the beverage. The required infusion time depends on the ingredients, liquid, equipment, and desired flavor intensity.

Step 4

Release and Serve

Once the infusion is complete, release the pressure according to the equipment instructions. The infused liquid can then be strained, served, or used as an ingredient in other beverages.
